also, a consideration: the locals would not be stoked to have 30+ people plowing through alvin meadows. that area has already experienced some anti-mtb consequences (e.g., feature destruction) from increased exposure. please keep it on the DL and use small groups...

I always look forward to this campout each year, and would love to see a alternate weekend. Perhaps closer to the usual 1st or 2nd weekend of April.

lets camp in may when the weather is going to be a bit better and the snow will have time to melt off.

You guys should let Eric know you've hijacked the camp-out so he can re-do his reservations and then you should consider just doing a poll.
Keep in mind that April is super busy and May too. Majority rules though.

What if I move it to the weekend before? Evening of April 22 (Friday) to April 24 (Sunday). How many people would be willing to attend? Please reply.

I'm in for the new dates. Weather should be a bit warmer and maybe more people will jump on board.

That weekend sounds good for me, I just need to check if I can get my trailer to fit in one of the sites.

I go up the backside through Temecula(79), Anza(371), to 74. Much easier than the front side through Hemet.

Cool, thanks. BTW I think I've talked to you awhile back when you were dropping your son off for the Sunday Fully Loop ride. Think you drove a 05 Duramax ?
