Trailhead Meet up with other socal mountain bikers to organize group rides.

Trail Talk Tell us about your rides and help keep other riders up to date on trail conditions. The home of RR's.

    Sub forum of trail talk:
Trail Conditions Looking to find recent trail info? Want to inform fellow STR'ers about a trail you just rode?

The part I highlighted should go to trail conditions.

I agree totally. Maybe we should call Trail head: "Meet at the Trail head" and leave Trail Talk as is with trail conditions as it's sub forum. The Pub is for NBR stuff and the General Section is usually fine too.

But simply based on the titles "Trailhead" and "Trail talk" how would one know the difference? To have any clue what it's about, you'd have to read the explanation. But you don't see those explanations on the forum listings. In fact, the explanation gets lost in very small text somewhere at the top of the page after you already select a forum (not knowing the explanation was there, I just went to look for it). My opinion could be wrong, but as you said, a lot of people post in the wrong forum - there's probably a good reason for it. ;)

Note that there is no description next to the forum title:

Yup, I see what you mean. Maybe those small text should have gone on the first page of Forum Listings under the title.

I totally agree - Like Gene, I'm getting tired of moving threads to the proper forums. All along I thought the descriptions were on the forum home page #-oI guess that's why us mod's are paid the big bucks. Wait a minute...
