Now that gwinny has the WC wrapped up, lets see if Gee can grab that 2nd overall spot. And Rachel taking the overall, despite missing the first race of the world cup.

Kinda like Villapoto for SuperCross, kinda blew for the last few races - we had to change some season betting for points. But Villapoto was out there due to injuries and Stewart not keeping the rubber down in the dirt.

Gwin was just a freak of nature with NO sense of self preservation and is showing the rest of the field how to ride! Been an amazing series!

He re-gained his National Championship this year (3 of last 4). Can he equal last year's 5 WC wins? Can he add a World Championship this season? He won at Leogang last year. Lots of drama and great riding ahead. And how about Eliot Jackson getting 3rd at US Nationals?.

As for the World Champs, there was a race at Leogang earlier this year, as part of the Euro cup. Minnaar and Rachel Atherton won. Course could possibly be the same.

Rooting for Gwin to win it!

Would love to see the young ones go all out. Loic Bruni is my fav junior, next to Troy Brosnan. Mitch Ropelato had a really strong result in VdI and will be one to watch out for as well. Will def try to catch that race when it airs. Hoping some new young guns really take it up a notch and become the next Danny Hart, going viral with their replay vid. I haven't seen Leogang, but I doubt it'd be as cool to watch as Champery.

Richie Rude was top junior behind Loic, but both struggled at VdI, with Rude finishing a few places ahead. Ropelato is a very cool kid. Nice to see him pin it. Danny Hart's run at Champery last year is a one-off classic, similar to Franz Klammer in the 1976 Olympics in Innsbruck. Google it if you are too young to know what I am talking about.
