Hopes rears are light. Relatively cheap compared to King. But you might want to email Hope now for new leaf springs. So when they break you'll have some on hand. It's a tool-free easy fix. Though something I'm guessing you won't have to do with King or Hadley. How about White Industries. Their rear hubs are in the same price range as Hope. And they're dead silent, and very smooth. Not as quick engagement as some others. But very nice still.
pog0, Give Larry Mettler at Mountain High Cyclery in Loveland, CO a call at 1-970-669-7960. Larry's a real nice guy and he's very knowledgeable. He will offer suggestions based on your riding style. I have bought tires & wheels from him in the past and have been very happy. I doubt you'll find much better pricing. Or contact Dave Thomas at Speed Dream , 1-800-275-5031. He also builds nice custom wheels.
Hopes on my Turner Sultan with not a single problem...and they are so loud I dont need a bell to notify hikers.
It's hard to feel the differance between the 2 hubs on the work bench. Not much weight saving between either one. I think the differance is in the drive mechanism. King is a top quality hub built in the USA and properly cared for will last 2 or 3 wheel builds. Parts are readily available. Go King!!

The picture sucks due to me getting a print not a file, give it time as I am righting up sponsor profiles for him and my other rider for next year. The picture is with the ramp set at 70' we moved it back once he made it. The first crash was crazy , I have never seen anybody fall from that high and jump of throwing devil signs, Mena is awesome.
Sweet. wasnt doubting your original post or anything, i just pictures 80 foot jumps and thought it would be crazy.
What do you mean thought, until you have seen a kicker that crazy words do not do justice. That white wooden ramp you see to the left is the ramp " Twitch" broke his legs on when they set it back 220' and he came up 10-20' short of the landing#-o.. Oh by the way the backyard you see is Mannys training compound home to the OG Metal Mulisha
