I can make an exception but camping with disco will be too cool. Hopefully others want to ride this. Put the word out bro.

Looking for more riders. Would prefer to have a staged vehicle at midpoint, so we don't have to carry alot of water on the downhill. This ride is approximately 28 miles. You can see the milage on the gray illustration I posted above. DISCO and I have done the Cherry canyon and Ortega trail.

    What's happening with this ride?
It's not on the calendar anymore. Still scheduled for Sept 11th?

This ride must have three drivers. Three drivers to have one car stationed at halfway at the Cherry Creek trailhead with water. The dh is fricken awesome, but a rider should carry minimal supplies due to extreme nature of trail. The trail drops from Reyes Peak to Cherry Creek in 4 miles total elevation loss 2500 plus. When it gets cooller, I'll post this again. I have copmpleted this trail from Cherry Creek. It is an advanced trail.

How many riders do we need? Ross and I were still interested. Do we really need 3 cars, because we would only be 4 miles into the ride from Reyes Pk. to Cherry cr. and it's DH. If water is needed at that point we could stash it on the way up. Just a thought.

If you both wanna do this than let's do this! I'll have a truck as well. My truck can be parked at bottom of Ortega. Let's meet at 5am somewhere let me know if that is too early but it will be hot out there so I'm willing to get up there very very early. Where do you all live? Do you have a gps that does not require phone service.?? I know where the trailhead is have completed the lower half. I have a forest service pass as well. Name is mike 9514736448.

I think everyone has a longer drive than I, I'm in Thousand Oaks area. So I'm good with whatever time you guys work out. I've no problem with early. I have a Garmin 60Csx GPS we can use. To confirm, we are talking a Friday ride?
