    I can't believe how many snakes I've been seeing lately on the Fullerton Loop when riding at night. What's odd is that I see many of them in the same place every week. I'm glad that they're really only branches and roots. :lol:

    After catching a couple rattlesnakes near the dam a few years back - thinking they were just gopher snakes (they were small, and the rattlers and the jaws weren't easily seen) - I now question my ability to properly identify snakes. Fortunately, I didn't piss off those rattlers, and I let them go a few hours later unharmed.

    Now that the snakes are gone.....guess they'll have more rats. 41 snake gotta eat something to get that big and many.....and they can't do drive through.

    Yea, I too have been chasing a lot of lizards . I've been seeing a lot more butterflies too, lately, which is kinda nice.

    A couple days ago, I stopped on top of Workman Hill (Turnbull Cyn.) and damn near stepped on a Rattler in the tall grass. I didn't see it, but I heard that rattle and made a hasty retreat......

    Little more familiar, this friend would not move, even after a dusting. Bell Canyon Trail. Would have made a nice appetizer on the BBQ.
    Taste like chicken, had a Mojave Green during a pig roast at Llano near Phelan.
