Testing out a little communication tool called chatbox. Might or might not leave it on permanently depending on usage and if people actually like it. (So don't be shy about saying if you like or dislike it!!) There's a link in horizontal navigation bar up top for it next to the calender link. There's also a box of it on the forum homepage. Is it helpful to have both of these? Or do away with one? Or do away with it completely? For when you just wanna spew comments or random stuff with people who are currently online. If you don't mind it but don't want to look at it click on the box in the upper right of it. You'll see what I mean in the attached photo.
i like it, but i wish there was someway to know when a new chat was posted. i usually don't go to that page
Good comment/question. It's very stripped down. There's a 'full featured' version but that usually slows down websites. This one is nice because it's simple and doesn't increase loading time much. It's meant to be sort of a random comments and stuff thing, not for things like ride planning (noticed jose doing that). More important things like that should go into the regular forum and that'll show up in your new posts number.
Im not complaining about it, i think it could be a fun feature, just trying to help you make STR the best it can be
