Not sure who your sister is but Nan dropped that section like it was hot and Kelly hucked it like there's no tomorrow. No fear and no hesitation what so ever. I was the only one who walked that section as they laughed at me. Yes, truly pathetic, I know.

JoeTruth, Yep, sister Nan is the one to blame for me getting into mountain biking. Looks like a great ride y'all had!

W8-[W, I thought my ride was hard....that sooo look scurry.
Great write up on your lil trip, i guess i need to get my game up, it seems i'm a a little whimpy compared to your trip.
Hey  to you three tackleing the obstacle that was in front of you and had somewhat lots of fun.

So, that's what you call exposure....i was thinking of something else. I very much enjoy the part of "throwing rocks of the cliff part argument" Picturing that actually happening would have been a great video to watch.

While we were warned, I recently did the flume trail (with no problem) that had exposure that was similar to the photos of the trail that was posted, this was very different. Joe was a great host and didn't throw either one of us off the cliff. The swing was a blast but I think I will stick to my local park. Yes I carry alot of stuff...Advil, brownies, jacket...other essentials...it holds keys too.

I was an hour late for my dinner party but in the word of Bill Braggins...the thing about an adventure is that sometimes it makes you late for dinner.

What a tall tale to share at dinner.

I can throw rocks if I want...besides they were small

Way to go girls. Kelly I heard that Joe was talking you girls out there yesterday and I knew that it would be a challenge for ya. I know Dusty can hold her own.

No shame in walking, the shame is in being to scared to attempt a ride like that. It is good you gave it a go, it does get easier and you get used to the narrow trails. Then you become a snob like me and that is all you want to ride. The Zion Loop is a classic Loop and a treasure. Hope you will keep at it and join us for more San Gab adventures.

Thanks for the RR! I am close to Chantry but haven't ridden that area for a LONG time. Your thread reminds me that I need to get up there and ride in the near future. :)

I guess I need to venture out more? I spend most of my spare time going to all the boring places like Chilao, Pacifico, Ken Burton, Gabrielino, Strawberry, Colby, The Merrills, Sunset, El Prieto etc., etc. ;)

Kelly that was a real funny RR, I loved it.

Anyone that's rode Chantry for a while has taken a trip over the side. Fortunately we have all made it out alive.

Worse scars I've got from mountain biking have been from this little gem.

    You were smart to walk.
