My first car: 1983 Volvo that my dad saved just for me, knowing exactly what kind of car a 16 year old would be needing.... Slow as hell and built like a tank. I took that mofo offroad, over curbs, and regularly played relatively high speed bumper cars with another same-year volvo. Never took any damage. Truly, they dont make them like they used to.

Sorry for replying to OLD thread, I do realize it is an old thread. Was searching for Car bike rack and found this thread, but I guess I was bored so I replied, was wondering if anyone had the same car so I would have an idea of which bike rack to get

Don't worry. I knew it was an old thread when I posted. But it seemed like a fun one to resurrect.

    1. 1964 VW Bug. My first car - reliable as a hammer
    2. 1968 VW Van.
    3. 1971 Toyota Corona. World's most boring car. Couldn't sell it fast enough
    4. 1967 Alfa Romeo Guilia Super. $850 to purchase; over $3k in repairs in the first year. Sure was fun to drive though
    5. 1978(?) Renault 17 Gordini
    6. 1972 Alfa Romeo Berlina
    7. 1969 Alfa Romeo GTV. My favorite car ever.
    8. 1990 Nissan 300Z (2+2 version -- easily carried two bikes inside the car)
    9. 1998 BMW 528 Wagon
    10. 2005 Audi S4 Avant. The perfect stealth-mobile.
    11. 2008 Audi RS4. Not as stealthy as the Avant -- bright red paint doesn't help -- but an absolute blast to drive.
(And various motorcycles along the way: Honda 90; Yamaha 350; Honda 400-4; Ducati 860; Moto Guzzi Le Mans)

Unless you're talking about a subject that's been discussed before in which case yee shall be condemned for not using the search function and adding to the old thread.

If thou feels a new thread must be started asking for new and fresh opinions, yer thread shall be merged to the old thread where it may be ignored because it's an old thread.

Don't sweat it. The sarcasm wasn't directed at you. It is truly a cool thread to revive.
