Why not it's Friday... My first, a '67 Cal-Style with Euro front discs, painted Porche Kelly green, dual 44's and lots of polish in the engine bay About my fifth or sixth car was an Audi 5000S. I took many high speed cruises to Phoenix with the sunroof open. A GREAT ride. My ultimate heartbreak - a classic '73 Bronco. Fully rebuilt by me - dual, extra capacity tanks, custom swing-away bumper/tire carrier, 5-point harnesses etc. Super reliable and very proficient off-road. I got hit by a repeat drunk at a stop light so hard that it tore my boxed frame apart. The officer knew the drunk by name. My Bronco was tough until its death - it plowed into the Volvo in front of me after the hit and managed to cram the entire rear trunk into the back seat. Poor lady got messed up....
Here's my list! 1. 78' Lincoln town coupe-- high school project car(6-71 blown 460cid, bull horn mounted on hood, white walls, roof chopped with sawzall.) 2. 86' Ford Taurus - Don't know why, other than cheap and full of gadgets for the time. 3. 87' Buick Grand National - fun car! entered the original fastest street car shoot out (lost out to pro street 57 chevy). 9:20' in the quarter on M&H's. 4. 88 Chevy Iroc z-28 camaro - fun, good handling car. Guldstrand prototype suspension, 400cid small block, tremec 5 spd, 9" rear-end. 5. 88 BMW M6 - first extravagant car I bought. (still own) 6. 90' toyota 4-runner - Fun, but slow. went through 3 head gaskets in 100k miles. 7. 91' toyota corolla gts - fun little commuter - got stolen at college. 8. 91 Toyota T100 p/u - It was a nice truck. Didn't do anything well, but it got me everywhere. 9. 92' Chevy lumina z-34 - fun commuter that turned into a SEMA show car. Too many mods to list 10. 94' Toyota Corolla - had to get a commuter. 11. 96' Toyota Supra Turbo - good car, but didn't do anything for me. 12. 99' Dodge 2500 Ram Turbo Diesel - bought it to haul the race cars, but it turned into a monster. 875hp / 1450ft/lbs. 13. 02' jeep - needed a off road recce vehicle. what a pile.... 14. 06' Toyota Matrix XRS - anther commuter to alleviate fuel cost. TBC.........
Not many Not many for me as I drive them until they explode: (From best to worst) 93 Integra GS-R pretty much stock but was wrecked in an accident. I miss that car. 92 Civic Si. Autocrossed it and loved the car. Sold it to a road racer from the Bay Area. Just too much money to race these days. 02 Honda Accord SE. A nice sedan with EX trims at a DX price. Had to get rid of it since I lost my job for nearly a year. 98 Honda Accord LX. Current sedan and still running with nearly 200K miles. 93 Civic DX. Probably the worse car I have ever owned (it was used and stupid me didn't check for problems#-o). Everything fell apart except for the block. It finally cracked at 375K miles.
