hey, me and my wife would like to come to. we don't know anyone though :wave:

so is there is room for 2 more with a small tent in a group spot? we can split the cost :beer:

 

The weather is sketchy for the camp out.
At this time I plan on going anyway. I'm one of those people that doesn't mind rain rides.
There are some good fire roads and you can make a long loop with them.
As for a bon fire, we can have one under a rain block or in the back of my van. j/k duh!
It's calling for scattered showers Saturday and nice on Sunday.
So I'm just gonna hang tight and wait to see how it goes. :?:

I like a bike ride in the rain. Camping in the rain...eh, not so much.

I'm remaining cautiously optomistic about this weekend even in light of the fact that Dallas Raines and his hair are predicting rain. We're still planning on going.

 

Just an FYI: the Backbone trail doesn't do well at all with rain. The middle section has a lot of clay and gets very nasty, so please "steer clear" of that trail if it rains Friday or Saturday.
Hope the weather holds out! I'd like to meet up with ya'll for some riding.

 

A local has given me the low-down on the trails there when wet and Backbone is one that we will be staying off of for sure.

 

Well - work trumps and new client and I have to travel - so I'm out, does someone need my spot before I cancel? My other half group is on the DL so they're out too.

I'm out: Illness and rain in January followed by injury in February have totally derailed my CC training, and I want to focus on that this weekend. Then again, I never did get around to that little detail of making a campground reservation! #-o

I have a feeling this trip will be canceled but I'm going to wait till Thursday before I do.
Perhaps reschedule in April or May.

Well it looks like I'm going to cancel. The weather doesn't look prime and I really don't want to camp in the rain. Instead, I'm going to use the money for this trip towards Hurkey Creek in April!! Definitely can't wait for that trip. I will truly be bummed if it doesn't rain this weekend. Anyways, have fun ya'll and happy early birthday Liz!

Work reared its ugly head for Friday and many of my campmates decided to stay home due to weather, so I also cancelled my reservation. If the weather improves I may head up on Saturday.
