    No kidding Carl, the thought did enter my mind earlier this week but I have to be home by 3pm on Sat so this weekend is out for me.

    Haha, yeah, I swore off Vegas quite awhile ago, but now I may have to plan some mini trips there. I may not race at Mt. Sac next week depending on the air and stuff. So maybe that's an idea for next week.

    This weekend is bad for me too actually, so I guess I'll get all that bike wrenching done I've been meaning to get to. Though, it's a bummer to get the bike ready and have nowhere close to ride.

    Who said I was punking out.... I am calling a local bike shop to see what they say... Update in 10 mins...

    Just called Palm Springs Cyclery....Cory said that the smoke is starting to roll into the valley and didn't recomend any riding out there.... Crappy, but it is what it is....

    I am about to head North....Past Santa Barbara and hit up SLO or somethin... I know the area up there for mtbing becuase I went to Cal Poly SLO... Anyone up for a road trip?

    the air quality out here isn't that bad [palm springs area] . the smoke is in the air and there is no ash. it is definately rideable. i might be back into this ride because the air quality in the I.E. is horriable not worth coming up there to dh.

    Ride Los Robles instead

    The Los Robles Trail has your name on it....the coast is clear! Meets at the Starbucks @8:00am or 8:30ish to ride by 9:00am, at the Moorpark Rd. deadend (see map attached)

    i've got mixed feelings. it was going to be a stretch for me cuz of kids soccer games.

    i really want to join you guys. if/when it gets rescheduled i'd like to lobby for a sunday.
