    Garlic, yellow squash(crook neck), various bell peppers, Violet, Hot Cherry pepper

    A mountain bell perenneal bulb I think is the flower? Or not...oops

    growing up, we had a garden that had yellow squash in it. my fav though was white. my mom sliced it widthwise, breaded it, and fried it. mmmmmmm....

    We used to do that with zuccini. This squash though we cube and steam, or cut it lengthwise and grill..oh yumm

    Ya know, it just might be..a friend gave that to us and just said it was a violet, but I'm not sure they really knew:)

    It's hard to see in the shot, but if the leaves lay sort of flat, cover the whole thing, and are kinda fuzzy, it's a violet.

    I just ran out of pics of local vegetation...thought I could spark a little more interest. sdyeti and bighit8 have a great grip on this stuff.....hint hint:)
