They might be the only shop I can get a certain bike brand I want from, can anyone vouch for there work?

If it were up to me I would pick the bike up in the box and take it home myself and put it togeather. The guy at the shop told me over then phone they have to put it togeather because the bike companys want it professionally assembed...hmmmm, kind of a subjective term. (With the exception of wheel building and a few minor things I cant or never have done) some mechanics I meet are freekin puffball yo-yos who quite frankly I'm surprized know how to greese a brake cable much less put a bike togeather. I'm very picky about who touches my bike...I dont like someone turning wrenches if I dont know or trust them I've had to many instances where something broke or came loose after it left the shop because some mentally challenged dillweed didnt do his job right.

    No vouching but what brand?
A short drive to Simi/T.O./SF Valley and you should be able to find just about any manufacturer.

Many bike companies do require that their authorized dealer assemble the bike prior to sale. And they certainly aren't going to discount it unassembled.

I have no doubt that you question their skills, so have you thought of just getting the bike from them, then going through it yourself?

    NO, stop asking.

as for the bike all they will do is mount the saddle, stem/bars and wheels. Fine tuning is all you.

To answer a couple questions...I plan on buying a Blk Mrkt Three57 and I will probably go over it myself when I take it home.

There are a lot of shops that sell Black Market, not sure about your area so you may have to drive a bit but if you are uncomfortable with their mechs wrenching on the bike you should find another shop or just have them assemble it and then go through it once you get it home, I do that with EVERY bike I buy.

Yeah I'll call around to a couple more places. They want 1,050.00$ for it and I want to see if I can get it a little cheaper (which this shop said they arnt willing to do because its a 2009 - we'll see if they price match 999.00 out the door when I tell them I can get it cheaper, if they wont, so sorry for them). I did find a bike shop I've bought a closeout from before and they want 999.00 S&H included (I think) so I may go that route (and thats a bonus for me seeing I dont trust people to work on my bike I dont know ).

Never mind, they do...here is the policy, its in Reno NV so no TAX. \\:D/

    Each Online Bike Purchase Includes:
    1. Free Shipping (48 States) - $50-60 Value
    2. Free Professional Build & Test Ride - $60 Value
    3. Full Manufacturer's Warranty & Our 30 day Guarantee

    The bike.

The 09 357 have gone up $50 so they likely arent going to price match the cheaper 08 price on an 09 bike.
