Like at around 1:20 when you have the effect of keeping the background still behind the riders tires. Awesome.

    okay it worked this time.

1st, that intro is friggin AWESOME. the super contrast seriously looks sweet. what do you edit with?

also, as was said the slo mo is really choppy, and is too much for a complete section. Slomo seems to work really well for lower, close in shots where you can see a lot of detail and motion (like wheel spokes, suspension taking up a particularly gnar rock chute, etc). also works really well for a railed corner.

it seems that a lot of your shots are really far from the subject to get away with a really heavy slowmo. it works, but only go to likr 70-80% speed, as opposed to somewhere between 40-50 like it looks like you've got.

also, I'd say lose a lot of the random filters over the top. they kinda cheapen things IMO, and make it look like you're producing a film with windows moviemaker.

finally, possibly shorten up the shots a little to keep people from losing interest with one rider going by for 30 seconds.

good work, but needs some cleanup IMO. keep it up though, I wanna see the finished product

Cool, but I agree about too much slow motion. It's race footage, it should look fast. It's cool to slow things down once in a while because it lets you see finer points of the rider's form, and stuff like that, but all that slow motion is too much.

I am shooting on a HV30 with a hand held rig I built I am a Grip for a living so that was as easy as using parts from other camera mounts. I capture in final cut pro do some stuff in Shake and lots in After effects I put alot of time in after effects that is why it takes so long my final edit is in Final cut because adobe Premire will not play the HD in real tim on my Mac I also use raid storage due to the beffy file size

    Thanks for the feed back

i like the angles and the coverage your getting, but in my opinion your using to much slow motion... DH is all about speed and your slowing it all down. which is good to show a tech section, but not every section needs to be in slo mo.

    but still a good watch.

Totally agree. Use more real time video for the reality of the event.
