I bought the complete bike, so no, I don't know what the frame weight is. I think there are some listed on empty beer. http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=531720

As far as components, these are the ones I can remember, I haven't made a complete list yet.

    Here's what I remember:

    Fox 36 Van
    Fox DH 4.0 Coil
    Titec seatpost
    XT Crank, Drive Train/Shifters
    DT Swiss EX 1750 Wheels
    Shimano DX pedals

    Skeptical of what???? :?:

    Give me some dates!!!!

nancy, the bike looks great. If it was my size, I woulda had a hard time not buying it from the path before you. seriously, I went and looked at that about 3 times the week before you bought it

as for big bear, I might be down for the week after this. we might have a trailer so people don't need to worry about lift regulations ;)

We will be racing at Brian Head 8/14-17 and why would I want to shuttle when there is a perfectly good lift???? The Uzzi has no problem getting on and most of the trails are better ridden with an AM bike anyway!!!!

Per Neil, no one at Intense has tried to install one yet. Andrew suggested shaving off a bit of the material so the back plate is upright.

Both Lee and I had to mod the DRS to fit the SS too but it was pretty easy. You have to notch the back plate to clear the lower link pivot bolt. I didnt try any other guides but I have a feeling that I would have had to do the same with other brands too.

So my fellow Uzzi members, just a little update. I finally have a few miles on the Uzzi and it just keeps getting better. I discovered that the rubbing rear brake when going uphill was do to the DT swiss rear axle being loose (even though it felt tight).

The longer 400mm seatpost is much better for climbing.

The middle dropout setting seems to work pretty good.

The bike can climb, but I can't!!! It would probably be easier if I had some power in my left leg!!! I did manage to clear Mustard at Whiting, Sycamore Canyon and the Fully Loop. Had trouble with Aliso on Cholla and up to TOW.

Overall, I think I'll keep it!!!!

P.S. I just ordered my Gravity Dropper Turbo Seatpost, can't wait to get it. This lowering, raising the seat is ruining my flow!!! ;)

    Left hand side switch type
    seatpost size 27.2 + shim for 31.6
    4" multi-position
    forward facing cable
    400mm seatpost length

The lower link on the Uzzi (and Tracer) hangs much lower that on the Slopestyle. The bottom of the link is in pretty much the same location as where you'd want the pulley on a DRS. Just notching the backplate doesn't work.

As mentioned above, Dave at The Path has some ideas, and there's a mod I'd like to try on my Blackspire Stinger that I think will work. We'll see.

Would love a chain guide option but I use all 3 chainrings. On high speed, technical descents the chain likes to jump from the middel chainring all the way off to the inside of the small chainring. I've had it happen several times, very annoying!

Nancy, you may want to look into a Heim 3 guide. Maybe it will work similar to the Stinger.

Where does one purchase a Heim 3? I know that e.13 purchased it, but I don't see anything on their web site.
