So everyone's going to get off that High Horse to come out and actually ride bikes tomorrow right? Great, see you there.
Yeah, that was nice. No wind. I forgot my jacket, but made do with 3 layers (undershirt, jersey and my backup tee) and arm covers. Surprisingly, the lot by the gate was empty, save for one car with some kids in it. Not a lot of riders after 6 PM last night.
Gets waaaaaaayyyy too cold out there if you leave after 6:00. We we left early to he about to Sierra Peak, but my riding partner bonked hard, so we just ride to Beeks. Saw everyone coming up on our way down.
Tomorrow nights ride will be a game time decision. If it's a light rain we may move down the road to the Luge.
I would gladly trade going to my work party for freezing on Blackstar tonight. Alas...I need my paycheck.
Last night the riding seemed warmer, but the temperature was the same as tonight. Tonight it was freezing because the air was damp.
Nobody else out riding the high chaparral.
Happy trails.
