    Parking near the gate

    I also wanted to point out about parking near the gate (the last 200-300yrds) has "NO PARKING" from 10pm-3am. Just in case it takes longer than 3hrs to return. I learned the hard way.

    Over scones and tea after today's ride, a couple mates and I were chatting about the need for an evening jaunt up Blackstar. But tomorrow is the celebration of the Queen's birthday. Hip hip, huzzah! Couldn't possibly fit all the bangers and ale in my Camelbak. Cheerio!

    Thank you for hosting the ride, Dino. Riding Blackstar at night is probably one of my favorite experiences ever (climbing, peaceful, wildlife, views etc). Hopefully everyone in attendance had a great time too.


    Highlight of the evening: Little Ryan made it to the Doppler Radar for the first time EVER and was still smiling at the top (last night was only his second time riding Blackstar too). Awesome.
