Ooops... you probably have a hole or two in your leg from that Yucca plant you ran over...Probably sore today... tomorrow worse.. I too like the "Aggghh" mostly the felling that ... Here it come! Glad your OK and have a sense of humor!
Ive had one of my hardest crashes at black star. Glad your okay! Crashes happen when you least expect em!
You get a 10 for being honest that you crashed on a fire road. You may want to practice riding on tarmac and go really slow. Again a 10 for being honest.
barely any damage ... only slight cuts and scratches ... i actually flipped and landed on all fours ... kinda rung my bell more than anything.
here's the entire video below ... alot of things came together to make this crash possible ... first i had my seat up in the climbing position so i can pedal downhill more easily and thus faster (so i was not able to drop my butt to help turn the bike) ... second i had loosened my brakes so i can pedal through turns while braking (i'd seen the pros do it, but their seat wasn't up) ... and obviously i took the turn too fast and at the wrong angle (probably could use a front tire that grips also) ... the crash it at the 5:30 mark [video=youtube;geOdzi8_19o]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geOdzi8_19o[/video]
