In addition to the bike.... suggestion:

I think we should do a picture of Mark (maybe taken on the bike) and have everybody in the Tribe sign it ... then post it ... that way everybody gets to share in this, as it's a family thing.

This would be very very cool! Someone on here must be a photography nut. It would be nice to get a high resolution pic with everyone in it (w/ a DSLR so I could blow it up to a larger size like 20x16).

 

We've got pro photographers in this joint who could probably do up something nice.

Forks

....the frame, bottom bracket and rear triangle are all toast...but..umm...how can I ask this....are those forks still any good?

You won't catch me riding around on them...purely from a safety standpoint it isn't worth risking it. The garage got hot enough to bake liquid into the paint of my car--no, I don't know why the tires on the bike didn't pop/melt (not exposed to direct flame?), but I can tell you that it was very very warm.

 

actually....i kinda wanted them for my self......even burned to a crisp they are probably still much better than the crappy Judy's I still have on my 7-year old bike:lol:
