Downhill Bike for fontana...

    My point was lets "hear" from the guys or girls that are placing, and what opinions they have on what a good bike for Fontana is. Just be careful who you take advice from.

    But hey, thats what forums are all about. There is a lot of good info once you filter all the BS.

    check out some of the foes they may be pricey but they shur peadle good

    it all depends on your comfort zone, some will say a light freeride bike and some will say a Dh bike. If i had one bike for fontana it would be the Giant Reign X. But if i were you, i would just put the cash you would buy a new bike with and just put some lighter parts on your demo or get a lighter frame. I have seen people make there old demo 8s in the 38lbs range. One thing that could save your legs on the wall would be a Dropper seatpost, id look into those

    Back in my Fontana days I rode the Storm H2 since it pedalled good.

    What's the most popular set up guys are running these days? Aren't top Pros still winning on 40 pound full DH bikes?
