Hey guys I am thinking about heading up to the big bear area for some hiking and possibly mountain biking as well. I was wondering if anyone knows how much snow is on the local trails like grout bay/grays, mill creek, etc. I don't mind riding in an inch or two of snow but if its 6+ inches of snow I may just stick to hikes.

Any reports on local trail conditions to this thread is greatly appreciated!

Hi Matt! We just went snowboarding up there a week ago, and they got dumped on. Looked like a fresh 4-6". Started seeing snow around 4K. But this last week they've had some warmer weather during the day, and it wouldn't surprise me if it's cleared up a bit.

Sorry, no info on the trails themselves though, so I'm not sure if this helps at all.

    Have fun up there!

Those trails will certainly be snowed in. I was there Friday the 23rd.
