Just the lifts I think. But they will have them open next weekend if the weather holds out.

I know the place well. I think people were confused thinking you were taking about a place in Big Bear.

They stop running the lift service for bikes, but you are still free to ride the moumtain. The trails we ride are not on Snow Summit's property.

I am going to try and make it.

Where is the "shady parking area" that you are speaking of Charlie ?

If facing the bathroom at the parking lot, where would I find you ?

Those Lagunitas were tasty. A dank and roasty treat with 7% abv whew, you might want to double check that derailleur LOL. Good chance we'll be there sunday too.

I've heard different things on what kinds of bikes they allow on the lifts up there - does anyone know a definite if they allow DH bikes or not?

your not supposed to. We were there like 3 weekends ago and on our third run they grabbed my buddies Turner and threw it up on the scale and it weighed in at 44 lbs!! the lift operator said "make sure that thing is 38lbs or less next time u come up. Ill let it slide if its close to 40lbs!" my $0.02

I haven't been there in a REAL long time - what kind of riding do they have? From what I remember it was just pretty mellow fire roads, but like I said it's been a while since I've been there. Would you even want a DH bike or is there a fair amount of climbing involved that a trail bike would suit better?
