Okay, good point! Classic Beatles: Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Revolver Magical Mystery Tour 'White Album' Abbey Road
I am admittedly a music snob and this is a Tough one, I had to compile my list by decade as my tastes have changed over time. I really don’t like rating my music because of all the bands that get left off the list. 80’s The Damned / Machinegun etiquette Stiff Little Fingers / Hanx Sham 69 / Hersham boys 90’s Nick Cave &the bad Seeds / Kicking against the pricks Killing Joke / Killing Joke The Stranglers / Rattus Noruegicus Y2K Grinderman / Grinderman Nick Cave & the bad seeds / Murder Ballads PJ Harvey / uh huh her Now how about a list of bands that that you would walk barefoot through broken glass to smash your radio, I think that would be a lot easier for me. Wasn't this the last thing the Metallica actually put out...#-o So this thread made me dive back into the hidden depths of my IPOD and I found myself with some additions to my list. Hmmm, guess I'm late to the party here. I'll list what I consider to be the ten best albums of all time. No Beatles, not that Sgt. Pepper doesn't belong on the list, but because I'm not in a Beatles mood today. In fact, I'd probably give you a different list if I was replying to this thread tomorrow. Anyway, in no particular order... Pet Sounds, The Beach Boys Highway 61 Revisited, Bob Dylan Exile on Main Street, The Rolling Stones London Calling, The Clash Blue, Joni Mitchell Music From Big Pink, The Band Dusty in Memphis, Dusty Springfield Shoot Out the Lights, Richard and Linda Thompson Daydream Nation, Sonic Youth Rain Dogs, Tom Waits Oh, I just thought of one more... What's Going On, Marvin Gaye
