    Man, I really tried to get into Dylan but damn, I just don't get it. So much of what came out of the 60's music and culture was (and is still) way overblown in importance by the people of that generation. As far as the Grateful Dead, mediocre music for stoned people to dance to.

    That's good to hear. Hopefully the new stuff is good. Lot's of old manchester bands have reformed, but just haven't been as good.

    I saw the Stone Roses mentioned as well, good stuff.

    Most Cake albums are good, but "Fashion Nugget" has "I Will Survive" on it. :lol: I'm not sure if it's meant to be sarcastic, or if they really like that song. But I like their version.

    "Comfort Eagle" is one of Cake's best. From the album of the same name.

    Man that is a classic piece of punk! With good production values... How does that happen?!?! Too bad the lyrics are so f'd up.

    Did anyone mention any Tracy Chapman albums? The first was pretty groundbreaking!
