How bout we get another fun list going. What is the best album/cd in your opinion. Remember, it doesnt have to be your favorite band or one you listen to often. Maybe list 2 or 3 for those of us looking for new tunes. Once the thread gets big enuf I'll go back and create a master list. Mine is Joshua Tree - U2 Metallica - Black Oingo - Good for your soul
Ooh a toughy... Metallica - Ride the Lightning (maybe the black album also). I'd have to look at my collection otherwise. Can't think of anything else off the top of my head. Wait, I lied! Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers Greatest Hits.
easy: 1. sex pistols/never mind the bollocks...nirvana/nevermind (tie) 2. modest mouse/the moon and antarctica
not sure if anyone knows these bands but a good listen anyways... Rx Bandits - The Resignation (rock) Rx bandits - ...And the Battle Begun (rock with kind of a funky/soulful twist) Streetlight Manifesto - Somewhere in the Between (ska/punk with a tiny bit folk flavor here and there.) People Under the Stairs - OST (a hip hop album just for good measure)
the list, in no particular order. pink floyd, dark side of the moon eric clapton, 24 nights U2- Jtree Modern Jazz Quarter- in a crowd Dave Brubeck Quarter: Time out this list could go a long way with over 400 cd's in the home collection- I'll stop here....for now.
