+1 on the Nocturn. Compact, bright, and durable. Has survived OTB crashes with its swivel aluminum mount unlike my nightriders plastic mount. ARGAMA has the deal that can not be beat on these.

I won a Cygolite Tridenx 750 lumen light during the raffle at the 12 Hours of temecula in June and this light is really a work of art! I have not had too many night rides on it yet, but it is made locally in Orange and is small, lightweight and puts out a shitload of light. It also has adjustable preset levels for climbing conditions when you dont need too much light. I would not overlook the Cygolites.

You bet. I think when someone shows so much character in standing behind his products it deserves recognition. It really is an onerous ordeal for a small business to go through the research, lab tests, validation process, re-design and product replacement all the while meeting regulatory requirements for the recall process. I think a lesser man would have walked away.

To top it off, it really is an excellent product for the price. It is very bright compared to the high end lights out there and the workmanship is good. The head unit is light which is great for the helmet mount and the new battery is well made. You are getting a solid performing light at a very economical price.
