This is for Neil, Bryguy and anyone else who's up for it.

The super secret STR Fall Line Super D Challenge Course.

http://www.geoladders.com/show_route.php?route=23759

Route starts at the dead tree stump next to the road when you get off the lifts. Bomb the road, turn on Fall Line, end at the gate to the road.

All you guys on big bikes better beat my time.

I was thinking more along the lines of start at the lifts, hit this:

hang a right at the clearing at the bottom to this: (starts at 5:30ish)

and instead of going left at 8:30 go right and follow it until there's a sweeping left turn onto bristlecone. that's about where I stopped timing.

btw, thanks for the vids neil ;)

Can anyone give me solid driving directions to the ride? I'm coming for Aliso. Will be taking the 241 to the 91E if that matters?:?:

You should step it up a notch and do the real Super D course. Same thing on the top, but then race down the fire road all the way back to the chair lift. The fire road puts Fontana's Wall to shame.

I wish I could come, but my bike wouldn't even come close to making it on the lift. And its bad timing with other things in my schedule.

I'll be riding an enduro tomorrow as well. I figure I'm safe no matter what if they get technical it's only 5.9 inches of travel. and if I can remember I'm just going to lower it everytime I get on the lift.

Just under the rules

I love when people or places set up certain rules that you must live by.

My ride for tomorrow:
Enduro SL Comp
5.9 Inch Dual Crown fork
Panaracer 2.4 tires
33+ Lbs
Frankinstein Chainring 22/32/36 (mounted backwards)

Just under every rule. I added the guide, Tires and butchered the crankset tonight. It's normally my XC bike with a standard big ring and tiny 2.0 tires.

One Last question about SnowSummit. Is there any where I would really need my granny ring? When I shift all the way down, the big 2.4 tire rubs pretty bad. If I don't need it then I'll stick with the 2.4 but I have smaller if I need the Granny.

I have ridden there many times, you will not need the granny.
