Ride Report Back on 26, or Snow Summit 8/19

HA, HA!!! I will happily give you my credit card bill!!! I will be on bike part restriction for the next year and have to get a second job (or maybe I will just put Roger out on the street corner). :lol:

Seriously, Big Bear is just too fun and the Socom's were sitting at home crying due to lack of use (they do not like being covered with dust). They promised they would behave if they could just have smaller forks. In turn they promised that they would take us out to play more often. They are really looking forward to Brian Head over labor day. I even buckled down and put a 34T on my baby so I can shuttle and climb more. :clap: Noble Canyon here we come!!!

Yeah, right! I just had to replace the Talas 36 and buy new wheels for my trail bike. I'm just too hard on my stuff!!!

So when your downhill bike gets boo hoo'ed then what do you do? Just leave it in the back of your truck locked up or what? Sorry but no way would I even think about leaving my DH rig unattended no matter how much it's locked down.

I love seeing the pics from up there but it just kills me that I can't ride my DH bike up there anymore. Heck, I could put a 36 fork on it and it still wouldn't pass. Oh well.

 

We left Justin's Niner and Socom on the rack most of the day. Then left the Enduro and the Niner.

Heck, he left the camera and the keys on the bumper for one run and they were still sitting there. #-o

That looks like one of those Horses that run the Steeplechase and throw the rider off b/c the jump is too big.

Dino's got the tuck and roll down pretty good, he's probably use to it by now.

Too bad the crankarm didn't break, or we'd have to put that Horse out of our misery! :bang:

CC, those battle wounds look pretty serious, glad you were'nt hurt too bad. I bet all the single guys were fighting over who gets to give you mouth to mouth!

There were some HOT biker chicks (in full armor) that were hovering all over you! Checking your vitals... looking at your neck... checking for broken ribs... taking your pads off........ fixing your hair.... one may have given mouth to mounth (not sure).
