Getting back into Mountain Biking after a long hiatus. Looking forward to hitting the trails on my new Enduro (thanks to Armando and the folks at Incycle Pasadena for putting me into debt . Local to Woodland Hills, but looking to hit as many rides in the area as humanly possible. Suggestions welcome.
welcome to the group ehh!! noobie rides are always posted!! look on the trailhead section Oottay!!\\/
Welcome, Good choice in bikes. I ride an 03 enduro and there isn't any better all around bike out there, I am sure you will be very happy with it.
Welcome to STR  What Bret means it that he never lived up to the Enduro so he sold it. jk So you're new to mountain biking, eh? Go on some of the rides that armando does and you'll be fast in no time. :bang:
Of course steed preference is up to the rider but I found that the heckler, while great for the big hits suffered a bit much from pedal bob and brake jacking at high speed.
Thats why I have a DHX coil with pro-pedal, virtually bob-less......brake jack, now thats a whole different story, lets not talk about single-pivot brake jack, lol.
good call on the dhx coil. I have heard good things. I am thinking about getting the dhx air on mine but I don't think it will fit on the frame
I donno mang, My 4" travel Intese Tracer with it's horst link seems to have more pedal bob then my 7" travel bullit. At least the the Tracer has a lock out. I hate air shocks but in Fox's defence that bike sat for over 4 years and still had 150psi in the shock.
and if I did that's not bad after sitting for over 4 years. Put it this way, the tires were flat. I think I used to pump it up to 185 or so back then.
Thanks for all the support guys. I appreciate it. I look forward to catching up with some of you on the trails. BTW - how do I get to Del Cerro?
