I'm back in the DH saddle after 4.5 years (rehab from a major motorcycle crash). Just bought a used Demo 9 to get going again.

Most of my old riding crew moved on to something else or don't DH at all. I just want to see if the old regular spots are still active.

I used to ride Laguna, the races in Fontana, San Juan, the usual spots in SD county, Summit (true no more DH?), Mammoth when I could make it up.

all those spots still still DH active?

Also looking to hook up with some shuttle partners here, since I have lost all mine.
Before I send out the call though, I need time to regain some bike skills and 2-wheel confidence.

I'll be doing some light trail-riding and hike-a-bike in the mean time.

    Thanks.

Welcome back lol Fontana Winter Series starts in a few weeks check the calendar. You can come out and check it out. Meet some new people to ride with. Summit doesn't allow DH anymore. They got really strick this past season with regards to thier bike "regulations". I actually saw a few peoples bikes getting wieghed. Also check out the adrenaline factory forum. Thats generally where us "adrenaline junkies" post rides lol see you on the trails :bang:

    Thanks for the welcome everyone.

    Been hike-a-bike some lately.

If anyone need a shuttle partner, let me know.

    Thanks again.

Also, met some gravity riders on the trail...they told me that Eric Carter is working on a gravity bike park in Temecula. Truth? If so, anyone know the status?

Rode thier yesterday, nothing really big has happened there. The DH is narly, has some techy stuff, there is new slopestyle wood platforms to navigate, alot of new jumps to lap on .

Check out the farm trails in Wildomar, I have blisters all up on my hands from maintenance. Go to google and look up Wildomar, the trails are in the westeren side of the pics, that seperate Wildmomar and Murrieta.
