Hello all. New to your site, looks pretty kool and laid back..sweet. Anyway I'm an ex-BMXer and Downhiller. I just started back on the downhill rig after a major DJ accident two years ago that shatterd both arms at the wrist..ouch.. Trying to adjust to jumps again. I ride Kenter alot but I am really excited about racing DH again. Is anyone from this group racing at Fontana in November? Going out there this Sunday for practice, anybody know the race course? Since I was out I noticed BigBear is a no-go.....crap-it...Oh well hope to se some of you guys out there. Rob

bikebike, welcome aboard. We do a few shuttle runs now and then but most of us like to climb. Join us!

Nam you missed quite a scene at Cooks Corner. The Governator was there on his Harley and gave a speach. Weird coming down Live Oak and hearing Arnold's voice.

You shound have stuck with me. The climb to Old Camp was not hot, the sun was pretty warm, but like I said in Whitting, it will be cooler up there and it was with a nice cool breaze the whole way.

Welcome to STR. There are some DH racer's here. Like tk said, MTBRacer, Dirttorpedo, and myself race DH at Fontana, among other places. I think dirty(dirttorpedo) is heading out there tomorrow as well, you should PM him. I'll be at the race in November.

Right on. I'm not sure if you've ridden Fontana much before, but it can be a little confusing without race banners up. Take a little walk down from the top to make sure you scope out the lines you want to take first, I know I've ended up where I didn't want to go before. Have fun!

Welcome aboard Rob. I like doing shuttle runs in the San Gabriel's and post them here on occasion. I'll also be at the Fontana race in Nov. There are several lines at Fontana because they always change up the course. I just got the race schedule for '07 and they are adding a Cal State race at WoodwardWest in April.

Thanks so far I really love the Monster fork. I'm kinda heavy at 205-210lbs most of the time so I really need something burly I can count on. It's kinda heavy but I have adjusted to it. I do have to say I have owned several forks from many makers and this has been the best so far. Ultra reliable and super smooth all the time. Plus its a perfect match to the not so light KHS.
