    How about a gmail-ish auto update? You could have a timer running that uses an ajax proc to retrieve the latest search result for unread posts.

    Id just like to see a HOME or TOP button on the bottom of every page. So when you are reading a thread and its very long you dont have to scroll back up to the top. :)

    Actually no lol. I have the small apple wireless keypad and I am sure there is a Function command to go home prob F+H or something but I just thought it would be cool to have a top button on the site. :beer:

    "Home" takes me to the top of the page.

    Alt-leftarrow takes me to the previous page which sometimes is STR's home page, but it's the cached view not the latest view.

    I think you can accomplish the auto-update with a greasemonkey script. If you're not running Firefox, you'll have to turn in your geek card.

    Thanks, I'll check it out.

    What if I'm using Epiphany? Can I still keep my membership?

    I use RSS for 75% of my web surfing. I would like that feature expanded upon. With respect to auto-update I would settle for a META refresh tag on the home page.

    Code:
    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="150">

    I use Iceweasel on my Debian laptop.

    Notice no one is praising Konqueror.

    Konqueror! Bah! Worse than the People's Front of Judea! Splitters!

    Now that makes sense. Run a text browser through ssh on XP.

    Your mad because you paid $40 and I get the ad-free version for nothing.

    :bang:

    Why run cygwin when I have a working group of linux host on my home network?
