If so, which ones? Any recommendations? Which ones fit leg armor underneath?

yes, the nice men outside my room say I need to wear my pants...

but still, dickies. dickies with the double knee if you need more room for armor (they're a bit baggier). just sleep in them 2-3 times to soften them up before the first wash ;)

I wear either Troy Lee Gran Prix or Gran Prix Air pants. The Airs are for when it's warm outside - they are VERY well ventilated.

The best part of wearing pants is that you don't need to wear those really burly and uncomfortable knee pads. You can wear the relatively light $10 moto knee pads. The reason is that most mtb knee pads risk getting pushed down your leg upon impact, that of which has happened to me many times with many versions of 661 knee/shin pads as well as the TLD Lopes pads. Upon impact, the pants slide on the ground and there are no forces pushing your knee pads down.

After riding with pants, I don't like wearing shorts with bulky knee pads anymore.

DonĀ“t buy Thor pants. I have two pairs and the stitching on the drive side gave out after a couple of rides. Yes, I did sew it up but still, they are not durable enough even though they are warm and comfortable,
    Lee, just joking:)

I like pants, too... I like the TLD pants. Very comfy and room for pads underneath!

I would try on any Moto pants you want to buy first. Some are not very flexible and could be hard to pedal in.

I have a pair of Fox pants but I prefer shorts with knee/shin guards.

I climb in shorts, then unroll the dickies at the top. Just don't forget to tuck them in your sock.

Adding a 'by the way,' generally, the lower priced moto pants have less heavy duty material, and therefore are more flexible. Also, it helps to throw new pants in the wash a couple times before the first use to loosen them up as well as reduce the sound fresh nylon makes.

I rocked some jeans and old Gap cargos all last season.. they got the job done, comfortably, and in style :)

I figured I've had enough of that nonsense though, so I picked up some Royal future combat pants.. comfy, and facilitate wearing armor much better.

Honestly, after riding in pants I'll never ride in shorts at bike parks again.. shorts are for local trails and the DJs

To be called a sexy beast, Lee would have to take off the pants.
