anyone ride earl cyn lately?

I'm thinking of riding earl cyn in la canada tomorrow - have you done it lately? I havn't since the fire.

The County recently graded the first two miles so it is pretty loose. Above that in the National Forest it is still rough and at times singletrack but no problems getting through on a bike.

Earl Cyn Motorway

I rode it friday am. but not early enough1 (8:45)
it was ok until I hit the singletrack and the overgrown brush. theuphill tech and the lurking rattle snakes and the heat just about did me in.
I pushed thru it and got up to the towers about 11:00.
it became real nice when I pointed downhill1 I live in Sunland so I went down that side.

Earl Cyn was fairly brutal tho.
