What kinda trails are out at the farm??

Besides SRP... there are some trails off the 15 behind Temecula Creek Inn golf course... these have some gnarly jumps..

And then there is Vail Lake which is way better than srp if you ask me.

    Behind the Farm ride info

    Where is the Farm?

I work in Temecula and live in San Diego. Sometimes I ride after work in Temecula. I am curious if you have any GPS tracks you could share or maps of the trails that you a re referring to?

Worst case, could you please provide a description of where you are talking about. I am familiar with SRP and I've used the Wiashal Trail to create a loop with Slaughterhouse cyn. Is the "farm" near there?

    Bull Cyn.

Don't know if any of you have ridden Bull Cyn, it is behind Temescal Cyn High school. not a lot of climbing but has a lot of rocky technical sections. Johnny from the Pedal Smith in Corona does night & early morning rides there so he could probably show the course in its intirety.
And has a sweet shop if you need parts & work on the bike :)

Hey you donkeys, anybody available for a ride tomorrow? I am thinking of going to do some exploring around Hurkey . I just got my Banshee Rune built and it needs a good 20-30 miles to pop its cherry! Im not an endurance monster like Goldrunner or Fitz, but I can hold my own.

wow!! 3 full pages from a temecula thread! i remember when i first posted about temecula riders...people were like where is that?!

anyway, it'd be cool to see you guys get something organized. looks like there is quite a troop of local folks on STR now.

i was thinking about leading the charge one of these days for a pre-ride of jason's socal fat tire epic at vail. did some recon this morning...looks like solid course. maybe i can drop skittles on the trail for the slower riders to follow along! ;)

cheers to temecula...an hour away from every great socal trail! =)

Yea it's right at the edge of Hemet, but you still have to drive 20 minutes up the mountain.

Another Temecula rider here...actually French Valley. I'm just getting serious about MTBing and am looking for some folks to ride with in the area. If it works out, I'm in for a ride at Hurkey 8/29 or 8/30. I've already made reservations to be up camping with the family, so my commute will be short. :)
