Any interest in group buys?

    I know there are a lot of vendors here so I thought I would throw out this idea. Back when I was really into cars, the forums would always do group buys, where if over 20 people or whatever would buy a particular item, a vendor would give them a price break. A lot of times, these group buys would be worth tens of thousands of dollars, just from sheer numbers of people.

    So my question would be, what vendor wants to step up and volunteer to be a guinea pig, and what should the first group buy be for?

    Well I would offer up on the cars. But being a dealer only auctions, dont think it would go over. I can get a few hook ups a year, but its kinda case by case. But I have some other things that may work. Im still trying to get in good on the storage unit auctions. As far as cars, I might be able to pull something on state cars ( police, trucks, tuarus ect...) but they do not deliver cars and come from all over cali. We just picked up 3 police cars from the Red Bluff police dept.

    Varies but the average is 2000-3000 with around 80-90 k on the odo.

    Would it be possible to offer "20+ deals" or something simular? 1 post could get many replys? I don't know how your suppliers feel, but it might be worth asking. Hell! the internet co's do it. right? :?:
