Ouch! Heal fast but keep riding. Sometimes it's hard to get back on the bike after a crash like that. Good luck!!! :)

Nah, that's way up at the other end at the legal part of Burma Road. I wasn't on the ride when you stacked it DISCO, but KWH told me that hill is now affectionately known as "Disco's Drop".

Cindy stacked south of Oso Parkway on Ladera Ridge. Get well soon!

From probably the first STR Airliftee to the newest member of the club, Healing Vibes a plenty.

So you know It sounds like her mental condition was the same as mine, she'll be out till about 8 or 9 tonight as her body does a damage check. She'll wake up in a hospital bed needing to "Drain the tank." If there isn't serious spinal injury they'll let her out tomorrow, and she's NOT going to remember much if anything of this entire day. I know I liked having my wife there when I woke up, and the day after having an over sized portion of comfort food and friends.

They'll tell her about ointments for her face and she needs to keep at them to get it to heal and look nice.

Healing vibes out to Cindy! Fortunately she had all her 'angels' looking out for her. And double what Pat said, getting back on your bike after a nasty crash is hard. Hoping with all the support from her friends she'll be ready to ride again once she recovers.

Yikes. Please tell Cindy how sorry we are for her discomfort. Remind her she's not alone, and that it won't be long before she's healed up and back on the trail.

I am glad I wear a full face

I hope she will get on the bike again when she has healed up... it sucks to see stuff like this for people just getting into the sport. A broken finger or ankle here and there is no biggie... but vertebrae is scary stuff :( :( :(

Cindy: sorry to hear about this. Such bad stuff shouldn't happen to such a nice person. I hope you heal up fast and your pain in minimal.

Nope that hill is now officially named "Disco's Drop" and it's a few miles north on the Tijeras Creek Trail.
