I've had a few people ask how the Jenson banner works. For those who are new or never really knew to begin with . . . here's how it works.

It's NOT a coupon code or something that you enter at checkout. STR gets commission when someone clicks on a Jenson banner then buys something at Jenson.

It has to go in that order though:

click on STR Jenson banner ---> buy

Money goes towards hosting costs, stickers, and if any left over for my hard work :)

    thanks for the support

I actually bought some stuff today from Jenson. Must of been the new sweet STR/Jenson banner or the $5 coupon some of us got.

I have to be honest and say I am a little partial to this site and to George. You don't find too many people out there that you can trust your life to, but somehow George has created a forum that has attracted close to a thousand of such individuals.:clap::clap: I am blessed to be in a position to help keep things running smoothly on his end.

I know he didn't clarify this but it's not a pay-per-click, when you click the banner and go right to JensonUSA and make a purchase we send a portion of that to George.

But you are the key to keeping this program giving, every time you click the banner and make a purchase we get to donate a portion of your total to him. This includes price matched items, and items ordered online but then picked up in the store.

So if your torn between Donating to George or getting new gear, follow the banner and kill two birds with one stone.

    -Jared

I made sure to place my order for several items through the site rather than just get them at the store. Thanks for explaining how to support the site when shopping at Jenson!

Bringing up a good point.. if we order online through the link then do in-store pickup.

Q regarding that, though... let's say we want to go to the sale on the 8th.. do you still get sale prices, or is it just whatever it says on the site at the time? I'm assuming that's the case.

Then George gets credit. Support applies to purchases made online, and picked up in store.

There are going to be mad sales and discounts, many we have no ability or right to advertise. If you're here that day , you'll wish you spent the last 6 months double paying you Credit Card, to refill it then.

They should set up like a treasure map. That, or just toss stuff out into the street and we can all run to pick it up and buy it.

We were thinking of a huge Piñata actually :lol::lol::lol:

This year we are very focused on not putting all the good stuff mixed in a singe bin, so the first guy in gets to grab the bin and barter and horde. It'll be spread out for easy viewing and what not. Also because we'll have more complete bikes there will be a tent set up to help set up the bike for a test ride and leave ID. (cause Bianchi's and Yeti's Aren't cheap)

No kidding, last year some guy walked up to a bin of brakes. I thought he was going to sift through it and be done. NOPE, he grabbed the whole bin and took it with him. That's pretty messed up and lot's of people lost out. I like the idea of laying everything out individually. It'll make hording harder and give more people a chance to walk through the sale. How about a brown bag suprise? haha
