    Awesome job this weekend Drew!

I picked up a "Low-Res" file - Click picture to see actual size:

Photo by Drew Persson - I have compressed the file size since purchase. Picture resolution remains the same.

Yeah, I walked right up to him when I was outh there and started talking to him. The guy is so friggin easy going. We talked shop a while and he was telling me what a great time he was having and how events like this one was helping to build mtb'ing. Super friendly guy and pretty damn fast too.

Pretty amazing clarity, huh! That's a 1 megapixel version, it's insane when you bring the 8.2 megapixel original up to 100% - check this out (same shot as yours, only cropped):

Anyone know what manuf/model these elbow pads are??? Any feed back on them. (protection, comfort, fit, "breathability")

Those are Dainesse pads. Some of the most expensive out there. Good protection and breathability, but a small fit. I'm on the big side, xxl, and I had a set of their knee/chin guards, and hated how they fit. However, I am definitely in the minority on this, most people that have them, love them.

My girlfriend and I attended his clinic last weekend, and it was definitely worth it. Eric is a great coach and he keeps the clinic size to 6 riders or less (we had 4), so there's plenty of time for individual instruction. He's very good at determining what level you're riding at and making suggestions on line choice and technique that work with your abilities.

So as not to totally derail this thread, here's the photos Drew took of me and my girlfriend last weekend. I bought the medium size digital version, and it's huge. Prints out at 4x6 or 5x7 very nicely. Drew, your pics get better each race!

nice pics sleep... are you riding the new IH 6point? how do you like that bike so far? it looks like a solid AM/FR bike like most 6" travel bikes these days. i saw the pic of your gf last night going through the pics... i love the look of the small 6.6's. what shock is she running on it? looks like a pushed 5.0

You're right, that is a IH 6point. I'm really liking it. It was perfect for the course at Fontana this time around.

cb is running a Push'd 07 Vanilla on her 6.6. It's a little cheaper than the DHX, and with fewer adjustments, but she really likes it and isn't anxious to go back to the RP23. I agree with you, the 6.6 looks really cool in small.
