Air quality near the Luge/Whiting

    Didn't seem too bad this morning (I live in Foothill Ranch). But keep in mind it's HOT and DRY. But smoke at least wasn't an issue yet.

    More fires are popping up all over... Between the heat wave and air quality it might be a good bike maintnance weekend.

    I did a road bike today right by Cook's, I couldn't smell any smoke at all.

    I did a ride yesterday near the San Gabe mountains and i got way dizzy!Im staying home this weekend with the fam and blasting the air filters! Might just build another ramp! maybe ill shoot for the 12 foot take off this time!

    San Clemente 1 tracks

    Saw lots of helicopter gun shot glowing red south of SCST...don't know if it was the cause of a sizable Camp Pendleton fire on Wednesday night. I'm sure they are pretty good at squelching the fires rapidly.

    Thanks for the input. I just called the Cleveland National Forest. As for now, the forest is open this weekend. I hope to get in a 7am ride!
