    I took a nice ride over the weekend to Afton Canyon and hit the famous Mojave Road. Afton Canyon is one of the only places where the river is above ground.

    Found a rusted bike near a small quarry.

    Taught my 12 year old daughter how to drive on one of the dry lakes.

    Proceeded to the Mojave River section of Afton Canyon. It was pretty deep in parts.

    Don't know the purpose of this long wall in the middle of nowhere but it was impressive!

    Very cool! We drove Mojave rd when I was a kid. Did you make it to the travelers monument rock pile?
