They are called "momentum keepers" Adam:lol:!

What time do you think you will be there?
I am considering having the winning ticket holders be present like at race events but I am open for suggestions since it is a charity:?:

Don't think I'll be there in time if at all since I'm now commited to doing the full CC course. I was just thinking if I could buy tickets today or tomorrow if available, I would give my tickets to somebody to claim anything I win or give them money to purchase tickets there. Of course they have to be honest about it if I do win and not claim the prize for themselves. :-k What the heck, it is for charity, but that 29er is sweet. =P~

collect the money neil dont make them present to win this will increase your ability to sell raffle tickets since people will know they can pick up later at the store which would increase foot traffic at your store ;)

cuz i know i cant stay the whole day

I know this should be in the marketplace forum......

But, I'm gonna have some stuff with me for sale. I'm planning on putting it on E-Bay for my buddy, but I figured I'd try and drop it at the demo.

2 set's of used Crank Bro's Candies, 1 blue, 1 grey, $25 for each set.

1 set of new, white DT Swiss EX 5.1D Rims, $60 for the set.

1 set of used Mavic XM 819 Tubeless wheels, built at the Path, with DT Swiss 240 hubs, double butted spokes, black nipples. Comes with silver Hope skewers, and Michelin XCR Dry2 tubeless tires. $400

1 set of 2005 Shimano XTR wheels, with blue Salsa Ti skewers. $300

Sorry, no pictures yet. If you're interested, hit me up at the Demo.

    Update!

Just a heads up for all attending-
    The good news:
The guys that are putting on the Keyesville Classic Race -Jason and Company- will be attending to answer any questions and hopefully get some folks to sign up, very cool!:bang:

Bionicon will be providing the burgers so make sure you thank Mic and Paul, you guys are the best!

The schwag keeps rolling in, wait until you see the
goodies to help raise funds for High Hopes!

    The not-so-good news:
Since before Christmas I have been working with the Orange County to obtain permits, insurance coverage, medical coverage etc. because I was informed by Orange County that when you put on a event, you need to be "covered".
So after 8 weeks of faxes and emails I was informed Wednesday that the insurance carrier and Orange County Permits could not agree on the "wordage" of the waiver so the "event" must be postponed.
I of course said that is not possible, too much is happening and its a bit late to be telling folks from Norcal to turn around, sorry:?:.
I don't roll like that  and for those of you that know me, I don't like the word "No"!
I stated I did reserve the group site at Irivine Regional park so I can still be in there to grill etc.
Fortunately the head ranger has been very helpful in making saturday's non-event(that is what is must be or permits are required!) happen so all is well for saturday!

There will be a slight change to the "idea where people ride together and receive a card from someone on the trail while riding in a group atmosphere" sooooo just be there no later then 10am if you want to demo/ride, raffle should be around noonish!
Remember the demo goes on until 2pm so you can still demo some bikes after the raffle if you did not get to try out something before.

I completely understand what the Warriors Society is going thru to get the guided rides together so I hope Chris has better luck then me!

Thanks for your understanding and see you at the park!

Oh good. Now we get to wander aimlessly and then somehow "meet" at one single location at the same time by accident.

I love lawyers and insurance. Suck all the fun out of a good cause. See you tomorrow.

    Exactly!
Just like Gene & the WS, Neil got the big axe - really he was just praying for *rain* yesterday #-o

Anyhow, He's worked out the details of a non-organized ride and all will be fun.

    See everyone Tommorrow :bang:
