I don't know of anyone who would actually buy a 951 who wouldn't also want a custom build.

My vote: display that sucker on the wall like the kinetic work of art that it is.

Just wondering.....will Intense make a lower priced model of the 951? Would it be a 909?:?::lol:

Hang it from the ceiling. I love walking into bike shops and seeing bling like that on the ceiling - it gets you dreaming about blingy parts and such. The 951 builds on Intense's site are pretty wicked, but for me, half the fun is in building it myself.

Curious about Intense's "Raw Works" finish - is it truly raw, or did they slap a clear coat on it?

Actually, this is the 951 FRO, some day there will be a less expensive 951 without the G3 drop outs, and maybe a little heavier.

    It is truly raw.

    It's a medium,

    Mostly.

I say Hire me (experienced mechanic who's out of work) and I will come and build it! lol j/k well kinda. I'm not a fan of the RAW look , and i agree leave it as a frame, but then again in my experience its a complete bike that a customer can sit on and test ride that will help sell it to the non die hard intense guys.

Ya know for not being a big Intense fan, I must say that thing is pretty sweet. Dare I try something other than Mongoose???????
How about building the raw and order one of the sweet green ones for the rafters. Green and red hope, King ano mix on the raw frame?? Green King hubs, red head set ect..... Im willing to help pic a cool color scheme on a raw frame.

I say build the SH!T outa it! And let people drool over it to increase the excitement factor, but also keep a sign on it listing build kits for it w/ prices so the customers dont feel like they have to spend top dollar to buy the bike... people love options.

Tmac may become the only person I know to go mini-DH, go full DH, go back to mini, and back to full again

I say leave it stuck to the wall as it is right now. that thing looks nice...

I think you should donate it to B-Flo and Write it off as a donation on your Taxes
    Just saying

It looks sick as a frame.. for a frame like that, people will more than likely want a custom build, i would leave it alone

Dont build it up with average parts. Seriously I think people would like to see some goodies on it, something worthy for downhill competeion.

Those graphics do zero justice for making that frame look cool. Makes it look like something you'd see in the nineties. Raw is cool if it is built up with the right parts. I agree with the others, you will never build this up and please the customer that comes in for this. Leave it as a frame.

if you do build it make sure it has one of the best builds. custom spec it to how you would race it dh. or to make it a little more fun have people vote on the components for it then after a month (or however long) tally up the votes to see what the majority would want to see on it.

If you can't get a demo from intense... build it out so people can size it up and get a feel for it. Build it up bling or bland, but build it up... i know I wouldn't have bought the slopestyle without trying it out.
