Kind of funny. I was looking at my computer and I was thinking that I was kickin arse as it's been a long time since I've got any decent climbing in (that's why I didn't jump into your ride). So I'm looking at my computer and although Good Ol Slap is workin me I see we are maintaining a 12.5 mph. Then I figure it out when we get back down I was looking at KPH! #-o. It really is a little harder then GMR as you climb faster or more like the grade is steeper but it's shorter so I'd give it a tie. Most folks will argue with this though, as they say 39 is harder. There is better scenery on 39 and it's closed to traffic on the upper part so I like it more. Also this morning when I was driving up a lot of folks were standing in the street I stopped to ask what was going on and a lady pointed out a bear that was up a tree. To cool. It looked like it was just taking a break. Good ol Slap was about 10 minutes behind me but he didn't see it. What are you guys riding next weekend? I'm getting a professional fit next Saturday and will need to check out how well the fit works on Sunday. For 250 dollars I'm thinking it should make me a mile or two faster

Not bad at all. My next ride up there is probably an out-and-back to at least Dawson Saddle.

Amazing ride! GMR was intimidating at first but once you start spinning its not so bad.. On a seperate note, going up to the ski lifts is a different story.. I personally was blown-out on the way up to the lifts, however, I was determined to make it! My friend Ryan crushed it as expected...

Nice meeting you Chewyeti and davidB, we'll go out for a spin sometime..

dude, climbing takes more out of me than I had though. I rode SGRT today for 60 miles and my legs were toast halfway through.

Chewy and I may be fast on the bike paths, but yesterday we were humbled as we got passed by quite a few fast guys. A group of 10 just blew us away on GRR, a couple others on GMR just flew right by as well.
