3rd Annual Think Pink Newbie/Social and After Ride BBQ Saturday 5/10/14

Hello All. For those that are new to STR, I started this ride in 2012 when my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer as a show of support for her and for me to get some emotional support from MTB family. So for this ride I ask that everybody wear a little or a lot of pink to show the beautiful ladies that are currently or have battled breast cancer that we care and are here to support them. I would also like us to show support for those who have been affected by any type of cancer in general. As usual the pace will be newbie/social with many regroups and nobody gets left behind. Plan is to go up Telegraph to 4 corners and back to hang out for some good BBQ grub. Please let me know what you're volunteering to bring and I'll add it to this post. If you don't know what to bring, contact me thru pm or blindman_22 at yahoo dot com. Please RSVP so we can figure out how much food is needed. I know this may be posted on FB and in other groups, but if you're a STR member please only RSVP here as it will be easier for me to get a more accurate head count.

Need burgers, dogs, buns, condiments, sides, drinks and dessert. Let me know what you can bring and I'll make a note of it here.

Get a baby trailer.

 

Dunno yet lol. My wife is due next Monday so pretty much anytime now. If i can't make the ride I'm sure I can talk her into going to the BBQ after.

Let's do this .....we need more bbq goods guys and girls. Tony can't pull this off on his own. Don't cost much for some 12ers of sodas or a case of water. Dogs and burgers are on sale everywhere.

 

I also have something lined up for this event, but you'll have to be the to find out what it is.

Am I cooking again this year? Makes the shirt smell extra special good on the drive home.
