For those with kids attending, either myself or mscalepic will be doing a kids ride. Route depends on group ability but the short course would be fun.

By the sounds of it Neil and Nam will be working up in the Bay area this weekend. There was a peice of me that was thinking maybe not, but thanks to Lynn and a little *YOUR STILL COMING* Maddie and I will be there. She'll have her new bike and will be ready to rock the kids ride with Mommy in tow ;)

    Getting closer.

To the Hurkey Creek campout that is. I'm itch'in to get up there again. I'm coming up Friday early, plan on being there by 8 or 9 am. I have never ridden the Alvin meadows area and would be interested in hitting that on Friday before rolling down to Hurkey. Anyone going to be there that early? Also are there maps and directions for that area?

Coming up maybe mid-afternoon Friday, I have rode Alvin Meadows but it was over two years ago right when they where doing doing bark beetle removal and the logging equipment had made following trails challenging. Sure it is much better out there now.

Me too. Do you want to get in a Friday afternoon ride? Or does anyone want to do a Friday Night Ride?

You get your shock all fixed, I believe last time out the dampening went out in it, didn't natter as you had two shocks.

I know Darryl & I are shooting for around 3ish ride time on Fri. to get a little ride in.

I have not really thought that far ahead, my thought process was to do a 8:30 ride 1.5 hours from my house i have to be on the road by 7 latest and i did not want to get up super early that morning.

That being said, how long a ride are you thinking about? And how far is it from the camp ground?

    Thanks,

Lenght of ride, no idea. I have not ridden Alvin meadows before. I was planning on riding a few hours and head to Hurkey to set up camp, which is I believe only 15-20min. away.
