For anyone else still looking, the tent sites right across from the loop (99-104) are right there too; there's just open space between them and the rest of the loop.

 

Looks like we'll be neighbors, as I reserved #113 (before scrolling down to see who'd reserved which sites! )

Letty and Gabe on the other side? Nice!

Site shows that only #130 and #115 are left, otherwise it's showing everything full for that weekend.:?:

 

Thomas Mountain/Ramona Trail
Go a few miles past the Ramona Campground on the fire road and you will discover the singletrack that reconnects to the Ramona Trail. Thats the Thomas Mountain line and it starts just as you crest the view to Lake Hemet; right hand turn. You might see horses.

Last year at the Idyllwild Spring Challenge the super D got cancelled. We still used the shuttle guy though (I mean he's still there and all:?. There was like 8 of us and we were all geared-up. Problem was it was a Sunday and there were a lot of hikers. The trail is real fast and flowy with lots of little bumbs if you are working it. People were a little pissed it seemed. Weekdays though?!?!

 

Wow... looks like all the sites are reserved now, even in Camps 2 and 3. That was fast!

 

My girlfriend Julia and I will be there to meet people on the site and ride with you.
We will then be retreating 10 minutes away to our heated blankets and roof.:wave:

 

Between sandblast and simonmtb, looks like we'll have a few Idyllwild locals to show us the secret stash out there. Glad to have ya along.

 

Spot #115 is the only on left in the circle.

That's a sweet camping spot too.

 

I don't mind sharing my campsite (109). I need to figure out how many of my friends I can sucker into coming... after that, I'll take as many people as can fit in the spot before the rangers get mad

Just the 2 of us! If anyone wants to throw a tent on our spot let me know. Just make sure to bring safety eyewear because Gabe like to throw things into fire.

North Face Talus 2-man 3-season, I'll sell for $75. It's been used 2-3 times, but since we have a kid, we haven't used it in over a year.

For those of you who did not make this event last year, i'd just like to remind you and everyone else to bring your earplugs..

There were 2 types of folks camping, those who went to bed early and those who did not!!! It could end up that way again :waveit's a fun weekend getaway for all)

 

I may be able to help you out on this. One set of folks will be doing beer bongs getting tattoos until 400AM rocking out to Maiden and Slayer :bang: The other group may be hitting the acoustic guitar, playing the bongos, eating granola, or doing the smores thing.
