Run the 29er. Common, who are you trying to kid.

And bring the 18t, 20t, and 22t. B/c I know you will be carrying both a chain whip, and a cassette tool, and torque wrench in your pack Ken.

Feel free to run a 2:1 or higher. The course is all flat or downhill, no climbing involved, you know, sort of like SART.

Fine! I'll run the 20 x 34 then...... I should be able to make all the climbs then...

I'll probably just leave the 69'er as is and bring it out as a 32 x 18 and call it a day. I don't really feel like ripping apart the 29er tonight make it a SS. I just might bring the 20t with me just in case though.

Would 52 gear inches be OK on a 29er?

I think that park at the end should be called Oh Kneel. :)

If you are bringing all that then pack me a spare chain and I will pack you a PB&J...I got a fresh chain on but 50 miles is a long way!

I was gonna run 34/20 but upped it to 21.

Is there a meet spot for the STR group? I will be away from the computer until I am on the trail tomorrow.

Oh common, Took me a beer, and watching half of 3 Kings to do this.

Just take off the stem/bars/shifters/brakes as one unit. Remove housing, add shorter chain and cog. Add whatever spare brakes you keep in your trunk and bars/stem. Boom done.

Or just SSpeed the Enduro Ken. I'd love to see a 26lbs. SSpeed 6" bike. Hahaha.

Bring the 69'er out for sure. I will be on mine and I am currently running 34x20. Is yours a real 69'er or did you just throw a 29er front wheel on like me?
