33% average grade Fargo St in LA ride

Fargo st was alot harder than I thought. 33% average grade. Only made it up twice but made the news. I'm the last one in the video holding the patch I earned.

congrats! my friend said that he read that the record for climbing the hill was 90 times. surely that's a crock o' poo, right? no human being could climb that thing 90 times...

The same man broke his own record by going up 101 times this past Sunday. Special bike with 1 low gear.

 

Dang! so it was true.

That hill's only a couple of miles from me. I gotta try it.

i don't know what the big deal is. i rode down that street a few years ago with no problem. what's that? ohhh. never mind... btw- the huell(?) howser episode covering that is classic.
